Der heutige Tag f\u00fchrte uns durch verschiedene keinen Canyons von Salida nach Grand Junction mit dem Hauptziel den Black Canyon zu besuchen. Der Black-Canyon-of-the-Gunnison-Nationalpark liegt im Westen Colorados. Er sch\u00fctzt den zentralen Teil der Schlucht des Gunnison Rivers, einem Zufluss des Colorado River, die aufgrund des harten Gesteins aussergew\u00f6hnlich steil ist. Die beiden R\u00e4nder der Schlucht sind im Schutzgebiet nicht miteinander verbunden, die meisten Besucher nutzen nur den S\u00fcdrand.<\/p>\n
